In the footsteps of the holy family, according to Scripture, Jesus Christ lived in Palestine, and the only other country he visited (as a young child) is Egypt. Day 01 Cairo

Arrive Cairo International Airport meet and assist by Guide lines representative with the sign of your name and assisting you through passport control formalities

Transfer to your selected hotel in Cairo

Overnight in Cairo

Day 02(old Cairo – Heliopolis)

 

Proceed to the Church of the Virgin Mary (The Hanging Church) and tour to visit St. Mark’s Cathedral (the first apostle to spread Christianity in Egypt), have been transferred to the cathedral.

Break for lunch

Proceed to Heliopolis area in Cairo there we will see the famous obelisk in matreya square

Then visit the Virgin Mary church in matreya & the famous tree dedicated to the virgin Mary as the holy family lay down there for some time

Overnight in Cairo

Day 03(wadi elnatron – Alexandria- Cairo)

· Breakfast at hotel

· Drive to wadi elnatron

· On the way stop to visit the Natroun valley or Wadi Elnatroun

· We will visit the Coptic monasteries in Wadi Elnatroun where Monks used to live since the 4th century

· After visiting the monasteries we continue our driving to Alexandria

· Break for lunch in Alexandria

· The catacomb of kom Elshokafa is a the largest roman burial site in Egypt

· Proceed to the fortress of quitbay (built in the 14th century at the same place of the pharos light house (which was one of the seven wonders)

· Drive back to Cairo

· Overnight in Cairo

Day 04(Cairo – Tanis- Ismailia)

Breakfast at hotel

Drive to Tanis

Visiting Hathor Temple in Tell Basta, which there is a Story telling that there was a priest and some inhabitant who tried to help the Holy Family to run away from spies of Herodos and became the first Christian.

Visiting Tanis the ancient Capital of the 21st and 23rd dynasty.

Lunch box.

Then continue to Ismailia.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 (Ismailia-St Paul & St Antoine –Ein Elsokhna)

Breakfast at hotel

Visit St. Paul and St. Antoine Monasteries.

Dinner and overnight in Ein El Sokhna.

Day 06 (Ein Elsokhna – St. Catharine)

Breakfast at hotel

Drive to Catherine

On the way stop to visit

Suez Canal Moses wells (the seven wells which dedicated to the prophet mosses)

Dinner & overnight in Catherine

Day 07 (Catharine – Cairo)

Early morning g Approx (01:00: 03:00) A.M start climbing Moses Mountain on the footsteps of the prophet Moses to reach the peak before the sun rise

Enjoy the sun Rise at Moses Mountain

Breakfast at hotel

Then visit the Monastery of St. Catherine (visit the ancient church, the burning bush, Moses well)

Break at Hotel for refreshment & lunch

Then Drive to Cairo (05 Hours Driving)

Arrive to Cairo then check into your hotel in Cairo

Overnight in Cairo

Day 08 (pyramids, Egyptian museum)

Pyramids (one of the seven wonders of the ancient World) & Sphinx ( the guardian of the pyramids ) with free time for camel ride at the area

Break for lunch

Proceed to the Egyptian museum (which is the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world) there also we will see the treasure of king tut ankh Emun with & the famous golden mask

Overnight in Cairo

Day 09 (Departure)

Breakfast at hotel

Transfer to Cairo airport for final departure.
